Sabine Swaenen – Executive Secretary

Sabine Swaenen serves as Executive Secretary, providing support to WFDB’s leadership and coordinating its day-to-day administration and international activities.

She has more than 30 years of professional experience within the Antwerp diamond sector and has served as Executive Secretary of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses since 2024.
In her role at the WFDB, Sabine coordinates administrative and organizational matters, supports the preparation and follow-up of Executive Committee meetings, Congresses and other international meetings, and facilitates communication between the leadership, member bourses and industry stakeholders. She assists in the implementation and follow-up of decisions and strategic initiatives, oversees official correspondence and contributes to the coordination of projects involving the WFDB and its international network.
