President, Diamond Bourse of the Southeastern United States
Born and raised in Israel, David Rosenberg, 35, is a seventh generation Israeli. As a teenager, David immigrated to the United States with his family, settling in South Florida where he is currently raising his own family.
Starting his wholesale operations in 2000, Mr. Rosenberg is a self-taught, first generation diamond entrepreneur. His company, Rosenberg Diamonds & Co., specialises in important white and rare natural fancy color diamonds. Mr. Rosenberg expanded his wholesale business in October 2007 when he opened a showroom in downtown Boca Raton, Florida – the first of 12 planned global locations.
Mr. Rosenberg became president of the Diamond Bourse of Southeastern United States in March 2007.
In addition to his responsibilities as president of the Diamond Bourse of the Southeastern United States, Mr. Rosenberg is active in many organizations and charitable causes, especially those which benefit children, participating in fundraising efforts by donating both time and gorgeous jewels. His tireless efforts as a board member for the local Cystic Fibrosis chapter were recognized when they nominated him for the 2008 “Men With Caring Hearts” award. Mr. Rosenberg is also a major supporter of The Unicorn Children’s Foundation, The Florence Fuller Foundation, Alzheimer’s Community Care and The Bob Beamon Organization for Youth. He has opened his showroom to sponsor fundraising events for the Unicorn Children’s Foundation, The Florence Fuller Foundation, Alzheimer’s Community Care and the Chabad of East Boca Raton. Mr. Rosenberg is currently on the board of directors for both the Unicorn Children’s Foundation and the Allianz Championship PGA Tour. He is also a generous supporter of the Alliance For Education, the Tri-County Humane Society, Kids in Distress, The Jeb Bush Florida Classic, the YWCA Harmony House and the Woodfield Woman’s Club benefit for Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse.
