The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council is the apex body driving India’s export-led growth in the gem and jewellery sector, since 1966.
Headquartered in Mumbai with regional offices across the country, the Council has over 10,000 members in its fold.

- Organising India’s biggest and second-biggest trade shows, IIJS Premiere and IIJS Signature
- Organising joint participation in international jewellery shows
- Undertaking image-building exercises through international advertisements, publications and audio-visuals
- Inviting countries to explore areas of co-operation in supply of rough diamonds, coloured gemstones and sourcing of finished jewellery
- Identifying potential partners and buyers in international markets through buyer-seller meets
