GJEPC Reports 50% Jump in India's Polished Diamond Exports In November
Polished exports from India last month surged by almost 50 percent to around $1.78 billion.
Polished exports for the April to November period were up just 1.3 percent to $15.6 billion, according to the figures from the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC).
Meanwhile, the GJEPC reported that imports of rough rocketed by 63.6 percent in November to $1.95 billion.
In the April to November period, rough imports rose by a more modest 5.3 percent in November to $11.9 billion.
